2009 ZENN (Zero Emissions, No Noise) ALL ELECTRIC CAR (NEV) Please read to the bottom. I have added more information by request. These Zenns are getting hard to find, especially since they were among the last ones produced and were made in Canada from a REAL highway car, NOT a golf cart. Everything works as it originally did. You will not find a Zenn in nicer condition than this one. How many trips do you make from your home that don't require you to travel more than about 20-25 miles? Please don't confuse this vehicle for one of the golf carts that are converted for street use like the GEM, Ford Think, etc. The Zenn has a highway style tire that's 13 inches on a nice Alloy rim, not little golf cart or motor scooter type 10-12 inch tires. This car is not for the Interstate, however it will get you anywhere around town you need to go, LEGALLY, on streets where the speed limit is 35-40 mph or lower. Check your own local areas for possible speed restrictions. The maximum distance you can travel on a charge is up to 80 miles with a new set of Lithium ion batteries. With a NEW set of conventional style batteries, which are not expensive, the range is between 20 to 40 miles. Your range will vary depending on terrain, temperature, traffic, how fast you drive and how much accelerator pedal you use. There are 6-12 V batteries. The existing batteries are Deka Intimidator AGM installed Sept 2013. I use this Zenn every day and charge it once or twice daily. I go everywhere in it. I am currently getting between 10-15 miles range with the 2 year old batteries, depending on how fast I drive, and I drive between 20 and 40 mph to work. Just like a gasoline car, the faster you go or accelerate, the more 'fuel' it uses. There is basically no maintenance and I have had no problems with this car. It has required no parts other than a windshield wiper blade which I was able to get from my local auto parts store. Most of these were factory programmed to go 25 mph but I opted for a controller reprogram from a highly acclaimed California EV speed shop, which increased the speed to around 40mph with much faster acceleration. This reprogramming also improved regenerative braking. There are no dents, cracks, no damage, no rust and no significant scratches on the body. The interior and exterior are in near new condition. I am still driving this daily and it has always been garaged or kept under roof. Because the vehicle weight is only approximately 1250 lbs, the disc brakes and radial tires are like new! You can recharge to 80% full in about four hours. NO SPECIAL CHARGING STATION IS REQUIRED. It takes only about two hours to fully charge a Lithium Ion battery pack. This one is plugged in anytime it is home and I have noticed no significant increase in my home electric bill. It is fully charged every morning and I also plug this in occasionally at work if I need to travel more than 30 - 40 miles in a day. This is precisely why I must sell this truly 'smart car', because my new job will soon to be taking me out on the highway. This Zenn is slightly larger than a Smart Car and it is similar in size to the basic Mini Cooper. One of the photos shows it parked behind a Fiat 500. Zenns have a built-in DeltaQ 72V 'smart charger' and only requires an extension cord to plug it in to any grounded household outlet. This is perfect as a second car to get you around town. I am the second owner and have put the majority of miles on it and This beautiful Zenn lives under roof at night and has been driven all over New Orleans, which is where the car must be picked up from (70124). $300 paypal deposit required immediately, payment in full must follow within 7 days and you must allow adequate time for a personal check, cashiers check or money order to clear before picking it up.
