Vehicle Detail

I have a 1998 Z28 Camaro in a very cool and somewhat rare Bright Green Metallic paint color. Only 323 Camaros were made in this color and less than 50 in a 6 speed. I bought this car from the second owner; it has not had 6 owners as the AutoCheck suggests. It has always been adult owned. This Camaro has the LS1 5.7L V8 engine and it runs perfect. It is strong and fast. It has the T56 six speed manual transmission which shifts smooth and drives perfect. The car runs and drives like a dream. The steering and suspension are firm and tight and the car has no mechanical issues. This car has power windows, power seats, power locks with remote keyless entry, and the monsoon 6 speaker stereo system with factory amp. It has a nice Kenwood after market head unit with USB and auxiliary ports as well as Bluetooth and iPod / iPhone controls. It will even charge your iPhone while connected. The color is something you need to see. It is a GM metal flake paint color that is quite impressive. It changes colors from light green to a deep blue as the lighting changes. It really looks stunning. The exterior is in great shape, with just a few dings and scratches. There are two small paint imperfections are on the hood. I was planning to have the hood professionally repainted and the quote I got was $300. But I already have 6 cars including 2 Camaros and my daughter really wants a Jeep Wrangler, so something has to go. We never drive this one. It just sits in the garage. The T-Tops are in perfect condition and do not leak at all. They include the sun shades that block out all the sun, or remove them and you have a dark tinted moon roof. Take the T-Tops off and it is a convertible except with far less wind at highway speed. The interior of the car is in great shape. The leather seats are very clean and comfortable. The driver's side bolster is showing a little wear, but it is far above average condition for the age. There are one or two little trim pieces that are loose, but they are minor. For example, the ashtray lid is loose. The console is perfect though which is rare in these cars. I have looked at plenty of Camaros of this generation and the interior of this car is far above average. The engine is completely stock except for a K&N cold air intake kit. Beyond that it has not been altered. It does have an aftermarket exhaust behind a set of high flow catalytic converters. The emissions are completely legal and it passed an emissions inspection and test just a few weeks ago. It runs so clean it went through emissions on a fast pass. The exhaust has a nice V8 performance sound without being obnoxiously loud. The car has a full set of C5 Corvette Z06 staggered wheels on it. The tires are General Exclaim UHP high performance radials. The front tires are 245 series on 17" wheels. The rear tires are 275 series on 18" wheels. This is about an $1800 upgrade. They are in great shape and look terrific. This car is not perfect, but for its age and the price, it is in excellent condition and very clean.
