Of that, ONLY 6,833 have The Judge option. So...less than 10% of the GTO’s were equipped with The Judge option in 1969...Pretty rare to say the least. This GTO Judge is one of the earliest Judges built with a build date of the third week in January. Early Judges as this one did not come with the Judge glove box emblem. As noted on the Buildsheet this is Dealer Order Number 00052. This Judge was delivered Kenneth Hammersley Pontiac in Lynchburg Virginia on February 12, 1969. It remained in Virginia until 2015. This Judge only shows 74,997 miles which are believed to be actual. The interior tells that story as it is very original with the exception of an optional deluxe wood wheel and AM/FM radio that was added. The car was professionally repainted in its correct color of Carousel Red. It is very smooth and straight. The Pontiac engine purrs as it has a very nice rumble to it compliments of the V-Force exhaust system. This GTO runs on pump gas. It can be driven anywhere, anytime, at any temperature outside. It is not the original original block but it looks correct in its appearance. Big Chief Racing did most of the mechanical and engine work. It is a 1969 428 cid “YH” coded block that has balanced to pack a punch! Detailed receipts for the engine build are included. Estimated 480-490 Horsepower! The 4 Speed transmission sends power to the rear with performance oriented Posi 3.55 gears. Up front, a factory power steering system combines with the performance suspension for the ride and handling. The power front disc brakes provide the stopping performance. This car has just had a full inspection of its mechanicals by an ASE Certified Master Automotive Technician. This also covers the safety of the car.
