Forest Green 1995 Mitsubishi 300GT SL. This vehicle is an automatic that I purchased with my son with the intent to be a restoration project for us. We simply have too many projects to get to this one any time soon. With that being said, I thought I would try and see if anyone would want to snatch it up before I tarp it and stick it in storage until we can get to it. I bought it with the story that the transmission went out and the car sat. So with that in mind I dug it out and pushed it up onto a trailer without much expectations. Strange enough, when I got it home, for grins and giggles I thought I would try to start it and much to my suprise, it fired up immediately and runs great! I put it in reverse and drove it off the trailer. Put in drive and drove up the drive and reversed it into it's current parking spot. The transmission does start slipping after a short time. When you shut it off and start it up again, it goes into gear again. The transmission fluid is dark, so I would plan on the worse. It does start and run very well. All components are there and in good condition. There are no cracks in the dash or interior plastics. There are a couple of minor wear spots on the drivers seat and the drivers side rear seat. The paint is O.K. with clear coat bubbles and peels, there is a small push on the front driver's fender behind the marker light. I am selling this as a restoration project. Do not think you can fly in and drive this car the 2000 miles back home. There is no rust, it has nice polished custom rims with decent tires on the back and not-so-decent tires on the front. This thing is worth a fortune in parts as they are all there and in good condition. It would be extremely sad though to see this car go that direction. Has the original spare that looks brand new and tire changing tools. Thank you for your interest and bid to win, the reserve is low!
