BMW 2000 CS 1966 for Sale This BMW 2000 CS (Original CS not C) with the manual 4-speed and Solex Carburators was first registered in Denmark in 1966. The car has been sitting inside and dry since 1980 and only recently came out. It only has driven 57000 thousand kilometers. That translates into 35.000 miles.Whats unique about this car: this 2000 CS has never been welded on, never been painted and never been molested. It really is a virgin barnfind. A great base for a great restoration.Because the car only travelled 57 thousand kilometers in only 14 years the car still looks very, very good. Ofcourse there is some rust and some welding to do but nothing major. Parts as Bumpers and other trim have no dents, no scratches, really perfect chrome. The bumpers fit on the car also after the restauration when it's freshly painted. Parts such das dashboard, carpet, doorcards and steering wheel are all in a very good original condition. It really unique that this kind of quality of 1966 BMW can be found. Even the trunk looks unused.As you can read and see this is a great base for toprestauration. It has the original 2000 CS Engine with the 121ti cylinderhead. The engine cranks and runs on when gas is poured into the carburators. Even the instruction manual and maintainance booklet is there and stamped!One of only 9999 buillt original 2000 CS. On of a kind in this absolutely untouched, original painted, bondo-free and never welded virgin. Just to be clear: Car needs a restoration, does not run, has some rust, not driveable!
