1995 Honda Fourtrax 4X4 Utility ATV. I purchased this ATV new in 1995 and have used it on the farm. It has seen a lot of use, but has been a remarkably reliable unit. These are known for buying one of the most reliable ATV's ever made. It's a 4 speed foot shifted manual transmission. Electric start with back up kick start. The ATV has sat for about 5-6 months with no use. It has a good battery and will fire over, but not start. My mechanic told me it needs a new carburetor since it sat for a while. I have a new carburetor in hand that will go with the unit, so the new owner can get this riding again. The unit comes mounted with a K&N air-filter. A neat big burly brush guard is mounted on the front which looks good and adds protection. When it was last running it was running great and shifted just fine. The ATV has a clicking noise from the front end. It sounds like a ball joint is worn out possibly or it just might need some grease. It leaks a bit of oil from the drain plug, but I believe a new oil plug rubber gasket would fix this. There are a few cracks in the plastic, but the unit is solid. The plastic foot areas are loose. The rear rack door is loose and needs some brackets. The racks have nicks and scratches. The seat is in very nice shape for the age, most of these are tore up pretty bad. This Fourtrax has brand spanking new Mud Claw front tires ( bought and mounted for $175) and a decent set of rears. I think with a bit of TLC this would make a real nice riding ATV for a very modest price. Let me know if you have any questions on this ATV. Payment to be made by cash on pickup.
