Yes, if you win this car and follow the rules, you can pickup AFTER the holiday. No worries. You DID know that you can drive a convertible all year?? This one is NO RESERVE!! Beautiful beautiful black great condition 3 owner version. I personally drove this car nearly all summer with the top down for my weekend festivities. If it got too hot, I kicked on the ICE COLD Air conditioning. I can NOT get over how good the body looks on this high miler! I can count on one hand the amount of dings on the body. No visible rust to be seen. Minimal rockchips. I'm no bodyman but I don't see any signs of accidents. Only complaint is some typical vinyl trim fading but it's not even bad enough to show in a picture. Bumper covers look amazing. No damages, cracks, holes, etc. Top looks justlikenew2u!! No rips or holes there. Operates perfectly every time. Glass is clean and clear. ALL exterior illumination works properly. A properly maintained beauty! Yes those are yellow-ish lower fog bulbs. Actually helped me out a few times at night in some pretty dark areas. If you stare hard enough, you can see the discoloration on the top of the bumper cover. It's not dry persay, just faded from the years. Again, no cracks or damages. Headlight and signal lenses are great! Matching Toyo tires are nearly new at every corner with no vibrations on damage free rims. Centercaps look to have been repainted but match decently. The car drives amazingly straight (see below comments also) with no unusual pulling or wandering. Unseen are the recently replaced brakes, rotors, and calipers front and rear that make this car stop perfectly with no pulsing or grinding. Shines like glass!! Top looks great and even comes with some little fuzzies at no extra charge. Below corner is about the only biff you will find on the entire car!! Couple nicks here but not bad at all. Interior is super nice. Not perfect by any means but complete and minimally worn considering it's age. Yes...the top has a small weatherstripping leak somewhere. I can't find it but the interior smells a little musty at times. I sat inside the car under a heavy rain, didn't see anything. Nothing on the floor or under the seats. Opened up the trunk after that and a carwash. Again, nothing. Found a little cup or two of water under the top cover. I blame the weatherstripping seam. Super small. Dried it out and sprayed it down with Lysol because I'm a freak about that stuff!! A solid summer in the sun and it will be gone as it was when I got the car. Minimal expected leather cracking. No big holes or excessive damages. Driver's bolster is minimally worn. Carpet is nice and clean. Cloth and vinyl look great. Interior liner for the top is great. No cracks in the dash. Steering wheel is super clean and minimally worn. As you may or may not know, SAABs always had finnicky info panels: dead pixels, "brake light out" when it wasn't, etc. This car never suffered from that as far as I can remember altho I think it said "low coolant" and it wasn't low. You can see below that the pixels look great and are easy to read still. Shockingly the radio and CD Changer sound awesome!! Loke someone installed a subwoofer under the dash, but I found out that this was a FACTORY system!! It really sounds great. The ONLY thing is...the 6 disc CD Changer in the truck works when it wants to. Played for a week straight, then stopped, then worked again. Plays burned CDs easily altho this may have been hit or miss on why it did that. Shots to show that ALL the dummy lights illuminate properly upon startup with NONE staying on during run. Sorry for the dark pic above. Was just showing the climate control in action with the hot heat blowing. Also note the info panels are easy to read. Below you can see how perfect the dashboard is!! Also note the radio panel fully functioning. ALL the power items seem to work as they should: all power windows, power heated seats, power top, ICE COLD AC, HOT HEAT, climate control-positions and all settings, AM/FM/TAPE/CD Changer (altho the antenna barely picks up AM, FM works and I didn't try the tapedeck), if I remember correctly-the cruise worked, etc. Rear seating looks barely sat in. Driver's rear access seat latch doesn't like to work consistently but the inner passenger one works fine. Rear trunk is clean, Factory floormats are super nice and included. Note CD Changer below. Unseen is the full spare tire setup intact and aired up ready for your roadtrip!! I honestly had planned a roadtrip to Florida in this car, but I managed to score an 03 convertible 9-3 5-speed to replace this one!! MY LOSS, YOUR GAIN! ALL the factory manuals are included along with some odds n ends paperwork. One key and One working keyfob come with the car too!! Open the hood and pick a spot to eat off of!! Super strong Interstate is ready to fire up this strong and smooth running engine. Turbo pulls nicely thru every perfectly shifting gear of the 4 speed auto trans. Spark plugs are recent NGKs. Oil, fluids and coolant are clean with no overheating. The car had a valve cover leak and I just replaced it. Engine was spotless inside. Degreased the exterior of the engine and can't see any other oil or coolant leaks. No spots on my shop floor overnight. K&N Air Filter is installed saving you money in the future. Brakes are perfect. Air is ICE. Heat is hot. Clean title and paperwork in hand ready to sell. Below is the ONLY complaint I have about the car and a repair that I simply do NOT have the time to perform (NO RESERVE, remember!?!). The left front strut is shot and the upper mount is cracked from it. In typical fashion, this convertible has the normal suspension chassis steering wheel shake under hard bumps. But it's attentuated from the bad strut. I purchased a new mount for you. The picture on the box is NOT the part, the actual part is the exact replacement. Pep Boys has the replacement cartridge (Saab uses a cartridge and the aftermarket makes this part cheaper and better than the factory piece) that swaps out for the guts of the stocker. It's $44. You can drive it as-is but understand that it NEEDS to be replaced. Understand the spring holds the car up, not the strut so this is as far as it will break. I drove it all summer like this. When you come out to pick up this car, you will see how much I have on my plate and why I didn't tackle this repair. Below are shots to show the top works as it should. I believe this is the motorized system that came before the leak prone hydraulic system. It realy works great! This is a lot of car for little money with plenty of years and miles left.
