I've been selling quite a few 9-5 and older 900/9-3 convertible series cars....but I FINALLY got my hands on this nice LOW MILE 5-SPEED sedan!! I haven't touched the car. You are seeing it the way I got it. Fresh trade-in from a new car store. I drove in around for a few days to ensure its reliability and see if it needed anything. I have nothing to report. The car is ready to go! Exterior is an easy 8 out of 10. The paint looks great but with a professional detail buff to remove some minor sap stains and minimal scratches, then touch up the couple of chips here and there, it would make it a 9. I tried to look but didn't find many....so I can count on one hand how many dings there are. Definately no dents or visible rust. I'm no bodyman but I don't see any signs of major body repairs or repaint. The paint matches nicely on all panels. Front and rear bumper covers have minimal chips with no damages, cracks or holes. Headlight lenses look great. Lower driving lights work but one bulb is out. Vinyl trim and lower portions are a little faded but a little vinyl shine and they will look excellent. Front tires look like nearly new Michelins. Rears look to be recent Bridgestones as well. All ride on minimally damaged vibration free rims. Unseen are the very recent front brakes and rotors. Rears are about 60% left. Brakes are pulse free with no grinding. Super strong. Hood and roof look amazing! I'm not a huge fan of white but it really works on this car with the black trim! The surface of the paint is super smooth. Below you can see the few touchup spots that need attention. The lower plastic trim portions have wet spots. It was very humid during this photo shoot and was nearly impossible to dry the car totally after I rinsed it off. Again, add some vinyl shine and everything will look amazing! The ONLY noticable (and barely) crack or damage on the outside of the car. Note the wet-dry areas. I'm being very picky here. The interior is an easy 8 out of 10 also. Minimal leather wear. Driver's bolster looks great. Carpet looks awesome save for a couple small stains that are visible in the pics below. Only complaints, and I'm nitpicking here, are the typical Saabminor peeling of the black trim pieces/switches. The info panels look great and work great with only one line of dead pixel. Everything power seems to work as they should: power windows, locks, climate control, cruise, lighting, HOT heat, ICE COLD AC, steering wheel controls, AM/FM/CD player (untested CD player), etc. As you can see, there are NO dummy lights on during run and ALL illuminate upon startup as they should. Above you can see the line out. Still readable. Below you can see the few white splotches from the black plastic coat peeled off. The glovebox button and trim is a bit worn as is a couple other "info" buttons. Everything works, just peeled off. Steering wheel is super clean with no wear. No cuts, holes, tears, or damages to the leather or doorpanels. Shifter knob looks and feels great. Headliner is clean. All interior lighting works. I HATE smoke and I can't see or smell any signs of a former smoker. All the factory floormats are included. The driver's side needs a heavy cleaning but no damages. Unseen is the complete spare tire setup, aired up ready for your next roadtrip!! Above the factory keyless entry pad works perfectly altho it is taped up and has seen WAY better days. No key for this car, don't forget. I found a perfect replacement keyfob in the armrest. It can be programmed to the car when you are ready and saves you TONS vs having to buy another. Sorry no factory manuals come with the car. Below you can see the super clean engine bay. Pick a spot and eat from it! Not all greased up as if to cover up something. Super strong battery looks recent and fires the engine right up. The motor is smooth and strong. The turbo pulls effortlessly. Air filter is clean. The engine had a light oil drainplug leak so I have given it a fresh oil change (filter too) and addressed the plug gasket. It is all clean underneath now with no signs of any major oil or coolant leaks. No overheating. Fluids are clean. Transmission shifts perfectly thru every gear. Clutch is tight with no chatter or slipping. Not too high, not too low in the pedal. Brakes are perfect as stated earlier. Suspension is super tight. No rattles, squeaks, or pops. Car drives straight over any pavement with no unusual pulling or wandering. This low 86k mile car has many many years and miles to go!! All you have to do is get in and drive!
