The body and interior are completely original down to the upholstery and paint. With the exception of a small dent on one fender this car has never been in an accident, has no replacement sheet-metal, and is essentially rust free. Even the floors are in excellent condition and still have most of their original undercoating on the bottom. Inside, the car has its original mohair interior which is good shape for its age and a beautifully woodgrained dash with working, original gauges. The steering wheel, knobs, handles, etc. are all original as well.This is a Deluxe 1937 with the accessory locking hood (the key is missing) as well as an original radio (needs rebuilding). The chassis and drivetrain are in great shape as well. The 24-stud 59AB engine fires up without a fuss and has a very smooth idle, though it has been sitting for a very, very long time and may require a little work here and there. The car runs, drives, and brakes with ease. The transmission is still tight and the differential sounds smooth. The frame has no rust issues and has never been in an accident. The car is even sitting on its old Wards Riverside De Lux bias-ply tires with a good spare in the trunk. This is a beautiful example of a "California car".
