1983 Porsche 911 SC Coupe Classic air cooled 911 with great history We just got in this great looking 911 coupe. It is a very original car with mostly all original paint. This car has been well maintained and serviced. The 3.0 flat six runs very smoothly and does not smoke or leak oil on the ground. This is the perfect Porsche to get before these also are priced too high. 1983 was the last of the SC production run and generally considered the best. They have a strong fuel injections system with few issue's, and make really good power. These share the same crank-case as the 930, all alloy and very strong. These cars have the lighter weight 915 5 speed gearbox than later cars, and this one shifts smoothly, we just replaced the shift bushings. We also did a fluid change and full mechanical inspection. The AC has been upgraded by Kuehl and blows ice cold. This cars suspension is very tight and does not squeak or rattle, also has factory front and rear sway bars. It does not have any rust or body/chassis damage. It features the original tool kit, spare and tire inflator. This car is a great driver, one to drive everyday, or would make a great backdate or R Gruppe project hot rod. The car comes with the Porsche Cup wheels that have been painted black with great high performance tires. For $1600 more we can put on an set of 15x7-8 Fuchs in excellent condition with new tires.
