1987 American Eagle wagon. This is an amazingly clean example of the late 80’s glory days. I have a history report on this wagon and it shows one owner. It lived in Green River, Wyoming up until I purchased it in 2012. The owners loved it so much they knitted a matching yarn blanket that comes with the car. I have always wanted an Eagle and this one was too clean to pass up on. So including me, it has only had two owners. I have loved the car and have had a blast cruising it around. It is the ultimate all purpose vehicle. Very low original miles, 54,668. It has a six digit space on the odometer so you know it hasn't rolled over. Everything works on this wagon, from the digital clock to the radio. Even the lights on the sun visors work. The interior of the car is very nice and clean. No rips or tears. Headliner is in great shape as well. It still has the original floor mats and the shag style carpeting has held up well. Air conditioning and heat work. All windows roll up and down nicely. The rear hatch opens but the hydraulic hoists that hold the window up need to be replaced. Still has the rear compartment cover that rolls up. The hood latch handle is broken but the previous owner made a replacement handle that works very well. It still has the original owners manual, spare tire and tools. The body is nice as well. The chrome is in great shape too. There is a chip out of the grill. It starts right up and runs smooth. The transmission shifts like it should and the 4WD works great. The paint is original and is glossy however, there has been some touch up done around the car to cover up the various chips in the paint. The tires match but are at the end of their life. All in all this Eagle is extremely clean for what is out there. I wouldn't hesitate to drive this car any distance. This vehicle is sold as is where is.
