This car is finished in an older repaint of its correct Thunderbird Blue. This car is an excellent driver, a pleasure to cruise on the road. The air conditioning system is modern and works great. The white convertible soft top is in good condition, tucked away behind the seating under the color-keyed vinyl flap. The exterior showcases a re-finish of the factory Thunderbird Blue color. The paint is in very good condition throughout with some imperfection. The paint was just professionally detailed and polished. Drop the top and enjoy this classic Thunderbird. The auxiliary hardtop is in great shape, correct with no portholes for this early '55 Bird. The passenger side door glass is cracked but intact. Open the doors to 1955. Under the hood is the 292 cubic inch 4bbl. V8, factory rated at 198 horsepower behind the Fordomatic automatic transmission. You can see this is a well-optioned T-Bird with factory power steering and brakes. The air conditioning system is a recent install, down to the compressor. The engine compartment displays very well as does the factory sheetmetal throughout the firewall, inner fenders and core support. The correct identification plate is in place. The interior features restored two-tone vinyl upholstery in matching blue & white. The dash displays the factory instrumentation along with an updated AM/FM Thunderbird cassette stereo. The undercarriage is another indicator of the exceptional condition of this particular '55 Thunderbird. The frame, flooring, inner quarter panels and drivetrain undersides are in very good condition. We will do all of the title work. Non Texas residents are responsible for paying taxes in his/her state. Overseas customers will be charged a $30.00 fee for wire transfers. We must collect a vehicle inventory tax of .002277% and a small documentary fee of $75.00 on ALL sales. SHIPPING The buyer is responsible for all shipping charges. We can refer you to a number of national and international shippers. Once the vehicle leaves our dealership, we will take no further responsibility for the vehicle.
