1952 Mercedes Benz 220 4 door Sedan. VIN 1871104559752 This is an ugly car that has been out in the weather too long. The body is ugly and rusty. The grill is wrong and from a newer model. The engine is a 6 cylinder gas engine. It will still turn over by hand. The valve cover is missing, starter motor is in the trunk. There is no radiator. Manual transmission is still in the car. Rear axle is in place and complete. The wheels are incorrect for the car. They come from a newer Benz. Seats and upholstery are shot to heck. The seat frames could be used again. The wood trim on top of the dash needs to be refinished but can be used. The other wood trim might be used as patterns but is in poor condition. Wood trim on two right side doors is missing. The dash is complete. Cigar lighter is in its socket. The clock reads 4:30 and is correct twice a day. It does not seem to work. The speedometer is in place and reads 87,197 miles bezel has pits in the chrome. The steering wheel has the horn ring on it. Telefunken 4 band radio. It is the five button style. The chrome knobs are pitted. The plastic knobs will need to be refinished. The body panels are rough. The doors do not have bottoms. Roof has some dents.
