This freshly cleaned up and serviced 1800ES is ready for your next adventure in motoring. The Volvo 1800ES has always been one of the best-styled cars ever built. With its very solid fuel injected 4 cylinder and manual transmission, you have a very reliable vintage car. This Volvo features the original wheels that have been refinished with matching chrome trim rings. The paint is in good condition and the mild tu-tone gives it a prestigious classic look. The seats were recently rebuilt and recovered, along with a new carpet kit. The suspension has upgraded IPD sway bars and newer shocks. All the glass in in good condition, as well as the chrome trim. The fuel tank was sent out to be cleaned - treated. You can see from the underside photos it is a very solid body and chassis with no rust issues. We purchased this car from an estate here in Oregon. The prior owner had been quite the Volvo enthusiast; in fact we got two Volvo’s and a lot of parts from the estate. It does have Air Conditioning that has the belt off it. The pump turns free and is complete. We did not hook it up because we do not have a R12 machine to charge it. All the gauges work and it has a good looking dash. Going down the road this car is true and straight. It has excellent power and drivability. This iconic “shooting brake” is a true classic, that is wildly excepted by all classic car enthusiasts.
