For sale is my 1996 Ford F-350 XLT 7.3L Powerstroke Diesel - Approximately 224k miles. She needs to go a loving home where she will be cared for as well as she has the last 19 years. 5 Speed manual transmission. Overall Excellent condition!!!! I have only seen one other 1995 - 1997 Powerstroke in this good of condition in the past several years, and it sold for $15k (but it was a 4x4 with custom lift, wheels, and tires). She gets compliments consistently on her looks and condition. Has always been garage kept until 2013 when she had to go under a carport. Meticulously maintained - Has always had all recommended services and fluid changes completed when they were supposed to. Scroll to the bottom for a list of recent services. I am only selling her because I finally broke down and bought a new F-350 with the 6.7 Powerstroke. Hopefully it will prove to be as reliable as this one and give me 20 years of service. I will attempt to list all the good, then all the bad. I want no surprises here: Good: Edge Performance Programmer - 3 settings ranging from tow/haul (giving great fuel mileage boost) to insane coal-rolling power (not recommended). Custom exhaust with non-catalytic turbo muffler (not too loud, but increases fuel mileage) Several other small performance/mileage upgrades such as intake... No known mechanical issues other than listed below. Never wrecked. Has never done heavy towing - just small trailers and bumper pull campers. Always stored indoors or covered, so original paint is still perfect other than 20 years of expected scratches and dings. No cracks in the dash, tears in seats, or any other issues with the interior. 7.3L Powerstroke still runs perfectly. Custom Grille guard, rear bumper, and headache rack with welded bed rails (toolbox may not be included - negotiable). Ready to tow with receiver, light and brake connections, and brake controller. Tires have about 75% tread left on them. Bad: She does have several minor scratches and door dings accumulated over the years, but none large or obvious. There is a crack in the plastic on the driver's side interior panel (lower rear at the base of a storage compartment) but it does not cause any issues and has not spread or gotten any worse. The "XLT" trim piece was cut to allow a CD changer controller (which no longer works) to be mounted, but I do have a brand new trim piece ready to install. There is a bulb out on the left side of the headache rack causing the turn signal to fast blink (rear lights still work properly - passed inspection today). There are some stains in the carpet (spots here and there), but I have never attempted to have them removed. The transmission is a bit picky about RPM and Speed when downshifting to 2nd gear (no other gears have this issue, and its only when downshifting). I've learned what she likes and never have issues, but new people driving it will get a bit of a grind trying to downshift too early. The battery light on the dash flashes (shorts) occasionally, but batteries, alternator, and complete charging system works perfectly. Recent services: Glow plugs at about 180k Water Pump was replaced at about 190k miles New brakes, brake booster, and Shocks a 222k miles (this year) New starter and batteries at 220k Oil change and fuel filter at @ 219k (oil was every 5k, fuel filter every 15k) Please let me know if you have any other questions or would like to come see her before bidding.
