I restored this about 20 years ago, no expense spared. The bike was bent when I got it so it has a post 61 frame, the same but with extra gussets for sidecar use. Engine has a 1969 crank so that I could use the German police 12 volt,180 watt altenator with battery ignition. Has a deep oil pan, new carbs, exhaust pipes. Hard to find parts include; 27/7 sidecar rear drive with correct 1.44 speedometer sidecar transmission, wide sidecar rear wheel, all tires are Metzlers Rare Hella driving lights and very early Hella barend signals, Denfeld solo seat with Denfeld pillion rear pad and grab handle 6 gallon gas tank, all stainless steel spokes, Sidecar is Steib S-250, a very hard one to find and the only one NOT being reproduced. There is NO bondo in the restoration. Sidecar has it's original luggage rack and original floor mat, Also included is a windshield, cover, and storage cover, This is too old and slow to be used on any freeway, it's for trailering to rallies and having fun on your local streets.
