This is a project that I started a while back with great hopes of building a super nice race ATV. I had one of these as a teen and have always wanted another. I have completely stripped down the frame and had a body shop sandblast, primer, and paint the entire frame. I have also purchased new front and rear plastics ($400), stainless bolt kit ($145), swing arm rebuild kit ($95) and several other parts I know I am missing. Notice that the handlebars, and rear bumper have some rust on them (I was going to replace them with polished so did not have the body shop paint these). The engine is mostly stock and does need rebuilt. The gentleman I purchased it from said it ran but had low compression. I was going to go completely through it and polish the case. As far as I know the ATV is complete minus the radiator cover. Some of the used parts look bad so I was going to replace them but functioned. I need to sell this so the reserve will be set low.
