Vehicle Detail

A Rare Opportunity From The Vintage Motor Toys LLC Private Reserve Up for auction from my private collection is my new 1971 Honda CB350 K3. Please understand that this CB350 is not restored and is an original purchased by me from a Honda dealer (the new owner will receive the name and location of which Honda dealer I purchased this example from). It has never been ridden and the speedometer currently shows 1 actual and original mile. This is a rare opportunity to purchase a new, un-restored Honda CB350. This CB350 would be the perfect example to add to a collection as it does not get any better than what the Honda factory produced. The frame number appearing on this new CB350 is CB350-3066236 and the engine number appearing on this CB350 is CB350E-3100641 making this of course a numbers matching original and new example. The build date on the vin tag reads 5/71. I of course have the original key set as well as a clear title in my name for this CB350 as well. I will describe this new CB350 in detail and would like to stress the fact that this example is a brand new original and not to be confused with the other examples of used CB350’s that are commonly offered for sale. This motorcycle has nothing in common with them and is in a league not often offered. It is un-molested and original and never used. It is being sold in the condition it was purchased in and has been washed. Please remember although it is new it may have a few small imperfections/aging from being stored for so long. The light ruby red body work on this CB350 is the nicest original set of body work I have ever seen and it is in absolute outstanding original condition. The fuel tank simply glows as do the side covers. The tank and side covers do not have any issues and appear just like they did when this example was on the show floor at the Honda dealer. The fuel tank and side covers are bright and show absolutely no fading whatsoever as this example was stored in a Honda dealer’s backroom for years. The tank and side covers simply appear as new since they are new. The gauges are outstanding. They have absolutely no fading at all as would be expected on a new example. All colors are bright and crisp including the red portion of the tachometer. The chrome on this CB350 does have some pitting from age but is original. The black frame paint does show its age in some areas and there is some rust on areas of the frame as would be expected after being stored for so long. The chrome is still presentable and the front fender does have a couple very small dings that do not detract from the overall quality of this example. The rims and hubs are the nicest originals I have seen and still have all the factory correct Honda finishes in nice condition. The exhaust appears as new with no major rust issues as would be expected with exhaust that have not been used. The left muffler does have 1 small ding. The original seat is the nicest original I have come across and appears as new with no signs of use or aging. The fabric is soft and supple and the seat appears as if it has never been sat on. The original new tires are the nicest original 40 year old tires I have seen. They show absolutely no wear and still have the small rubber nubs on them. The tires have no visible dry cracking. The engine and carburetors on this CB350 are clean as new most likely because they were never dirty. The carburetors look great and the engine looks like new with some of the alloy components showing some aging as well. As you look under this CB350, it is obvious that it is brand new by looking at the underside of the engine. I have never attempted to start this example and I would recommend using it as an investment and display as it would be a shame to use it. Some of the fuel lines have become hard and crumbled from age. I have not replaced them as I like to keep it as original as possible and this allows the new owner to be the expert. The engine does of course turn over nicely. Please understand you are purchasing this new CB350 as is and if you choose to drive this example it really would be a shame at this point. Overall, I can state with confidence that this is one of if not the most original CB350 K3’s offered anywhere. Again, I would like to stress that this should not be confused with the other examples of CB350’s that other sellers commonly offer. It is a brand new original example and I am the original owner and purchased it new from the Honda dealer. It is a clean and un-touched original that has survived against all odds. This CB350 would hands down be a show winner at any vintage motorcycle show and will no doubt turn heads wherever it goes. Please look at my feedback and you will see that I only offer the finest original and rare motorcycles from my collection. This would be the perfect CB350 to add to a collection as they are so very hard to find in new condition.
