I bought this truck a few months back has a father and son driving resto project how ever my son has lost interest and I have to many projects of my own to keep it my son had to have a pick up truck and then after driving it for a month or so decided that he has to have a car. the body of the truck is in gray primer that's how it was when we bought it the cab has had cab both corners done and they appear to be done the rite way the floors are original and have no rust holes in them and have the factory carpet which is in very good condition their was a small patch in the very bottom of the right front fender other wise the cab is solid I have driven this truck at 70 miles per hour on the highway with no problems my son was using it has a daily driver the bed has had a lot of body work done on it, it looks nice but someone welded supports in at the back so the qtrs. would not flap around they however did a nice job has the tail gate opens and closes without a problem all the lights, heat, gas and other gages all work like they should trans works just fine brakes are good front end is tight the only bad part of the is it has a noisy straight 6 in it, it sounds like it has a bad wrist pin in it however it does idle ruff but when driving has good power and the noise seems to go away I have changed the oil and it didn't help have rebuilt the carb so the truck runs and drives just fine with the exception of the noise. I didn't care about the noise when I bought it because I have another 6 that came out of a 71 ford van just change over the parts and drop it in I will include that engine with the truck I had the van for 10 years it had about the same mileage that the pick up has it ran perfect if you live close I would not be afraid to try to drive it home maybe like within 500miles that's why its a project this truck would be a easy restoration for anyone see the pictures very easy engine to swap just don't have the time have clear title in my name when I bought the truck I was told by the guy I got it from that he got it from a estate sale that was held by the original owners family after he passed away in 2004 the title I got from him when I bought it was in his name since then so im the 3rd owner I think the guy I got it from was the one restoring it and he was only selling it because he lost his storage space for it for what im asking you can't buy a cab this nice so that's why I listed it like I did if your restoring another early ford and need a solid cab this is it being sold as is 200.00 deposit at end of auction balance within 7 days cash at time of pick up buyer to pay all shipping expenses this is a no res. auction so to own no tire kicks you win the bid you own the truck check out the pictures
