Vehicle Detail
Up for grabs we have nicely patina'd 1952 International flatbed farm truck. This rust free truck is in amazing condition for its age with only 46,xxx original miles. The doors open and close just like they did at the factory, 2 clicks. No sagging hinges or rusty door bottoms. The interior is very inviting with the perfect seatcover, and the original floormat with IHC logo. It also has the original cardboard door panels, glove box and headliner that are a bit wavy and showing age. Steering wheel still looks nice and shines with only a few small cracks. Nearly everything works, all of the gauges work and light up, and all of the other lights work also, even the 3 lights on the turn signal switch. The heater works great, wipers are working under the original vacuum power. Transmission shifts nicely once you get used to it (non synchro). The brakes work great, hauled home 2 yards of barkdust last weekend. Park brake works but I dont trust it on my steep driveway. The carb could use a rebuild but it runs fine, and the horn button is sticky and needs some tinkering. All of the crack free glass appears original with the exception of the drivers door glass. New parts include exhaust, new 8 volt battery, stock rebuilt fuel pump, new master cylinder, new plugs and a fresh oil change using Brad Penn oil and filter. The fuel tank has been acid dipped and reconditioned for years of hassle free driving. The wheels are factory split rims with 6.50-16 tires that I have been driving on but should be replaced in the near future. Being a 1 ton with 16 inch tires it still fits easily in the garage and the tires are easier to get and cheaper than the 20's. The body is extremely solid with only surface rust from leaning over the fenders. Original green paint with minor dings except for the passenger fender which has some big dents and could benefit from a good bodyman. NO holes in the floor and the bottom side even has original paint. This would be an easy restoration if you wanted to freshen it up, but the looks and smiles she brings like she is, would be hard to beat. Thanks for looking and thanks more for bidding.
