**** NO RESERVE!!! HIGHEST BID WINS!!! **** You're looking at a 1970 Dodge Challenger project. It has a numbers matching 340 and an H.D. 727 automatic transmission. It's pretty much all original except for the 15-inch steel wheels. It's been sitting behind a house since 1988. The odometer reads 66,570 but the true mileage is unknown. They bought an economy car and this one was parked to save money on gas. It has a lot of cool factory options, 8000 tachometer, air condition, power disc brakes, factory AM 8-track, etc. The parts alone are worth good money. Hard to find a complete 1970 340 motor that doesn't have aftermarket headers, intake, carburetor and chrome air cleaner, etc. It's a California car with both blue plates and original license plate frames that say Escondido Dodge. I was told by the previous owner that he and his family took many trips to Mexico in the car. I think that's why it's so rusty. The roof has dents and rust. I have not tried to start the car or turn the motor over. I'm sure it will need to be rebuilt anyway. I have a clean CA title. It rolls and steers easy for loading purposes. No brakes!! The tires are junk but they do hold air. To sum it up, it is what it is, a numbers matching 1970 340 Challenger. It's too bad that it wasn't in a better environment over the years.
