Original 1970 Ford XL convertible that was last licensed on the road in 1985 & has been sitting in a garage with a cement floor ever since . The odometer reads 24,020 miles I don't know if it has turned over or not,has very little ware on the brake pedal or steering wheel. Pulled the gas tank & cleaned it out & put a new sending unit in it & new gas filters, tune up & oil change & new valve cover gaskets & air filter & starter & battery on the motor. All new brake cylinders & new brake line flex hoses & new fluid. Has a 351 V8 engine with a 2 barrel carburetor automatic transmission/power steering & power drum brakes, car runs & drives very nice everything feels nice & tight motor does not smoke. Car was repainted at on time it used to be blue & it needs a paint job now, paint is dull & checked, dent drivers quarter & some bubbles front of quarters & doors & center grille is dented. Floor boards & frame are like new , very solid except trunk floor someone has welded in new sheet metal but looks like a pretty good job,common for a convertible. Everything works except for the original factory option 8 track tape player, hide away headlights still work & the top goes up & down like it should, glass back window,original boot & bag for the boot. Drivers side front seat has a tear & the dashboard pad is cracked,top has a few small tears & seams coming apart (pictured). Good BF Goodrich P225/75 R15 radial tires. Great car to restore or go cruising with the top down just like it is.
