Up for auction is my 1966 Mustang Convertible. In it's original production this car included the Ford Sprint Package, ONLY offered in 1966. This package included chrome upgrades and a "C" Stripe on the exterior. The factory original color was Emberglow - also unique and offered ONLY in 1966. This car has a 200 1 bbl, automatic trans. We ran engine, starts and runs. We did not try to drive this car because it has no brakes. The plug wires, starter, spark plugs, starter solenoid, voltage regulator, the points and condenser, the rotor cap and carburetor (rebuild) were replaced. That is all that was done to the engine. Will need new fuel tank. Like the majority of restorations the frame and floors will need welding work - floor pans, left trunk floor and torque boxes need to be replaced as a first step. Convertible top frame is present and can be moved up and down. In original condition the top operated with a push button. This is a full car, a project that needs restoration. The mileage appears to be at 87,000 original miles, the title has mileage exempt due to age. Title is clear and full VIN is present. 6T08T253--- is the VIN for your research about original paint, engine, etc. The full VIN is not listed here for security. In the trunk are some boxes filled with many assorted Mustang parts, ponies, trim, etc that the buyer is welcome to put to use. Original windshield and all glass is present (see photos).
