Here's the story: Was good running truck... has new tires ( Nov.2012.. about 3000 miles on them now), new battery (one month old), heavy duty trailer hitch. Air , trans, steering ,brakes, lights,ect all fine. 3.0 Lt.6cly. engine. Starts fine but develops a loud knock when it warms up.( Rod or main ?). Engine on it's last leg. Is it drivable ?? Yes, but I wouldn't trust the engine holding out... or further damage the engine. Bottom line : Good truck if you want to fix the engine, swap engines (if you have one), or get one installed. Or in need of lots of good parts, body or mechanical.
