Up for auction is my 1958 Edsel Ranger 2 door hard top. This is a California car with no rust. Floors and trunk are very solid. Older repaint is very nice but not show quality. 361 V8 with teletouch automatic transmission, am radio, a/c, dual hooded mirrors, fender skirts, newer radial wide whites and spinner hubcaps. Car runs and drives nice. No power steering or brakes. All gauges, lights, turn signals, horn, heater and radio function as they should but a/c does not blow cold, could just be a charge. Chrome and stainless are of nice driver quality. Interior is very clean with clear plastic seat covers on the seats. Carpet and dash are very nice and headliner is nice also. I purchased this car last summer along with 2 other Edsels and 3 is just a crowd so this one has to go. The family I purchased this car from owned it for over 20 years and it is listed with the national Edsel registry. Car can be driven and enjoyed as it is and I did log over 250 miles last year on it and won a couple trophies at local shows, or could be a show stopper if restored. Some tranny fluid leakage when sitting for a long period of time other than that not to much to complain about, darn nice driver with good looks, straight body and original drive train sporting over 90,000 miles.
