Vehicle Detail
Please read our full listing and carefully inspect all pictures before bidding or sending inquiries. Please read the full terms and conditions, the description, and closely look at all the pictures before bidding. We take pride in accurately describing our inventory, but items are sold AS-IS. This is a legally binding contract and the last bidder will be the owner of this great vehicle. CALL US WITH ANY QUESTIONS AND IF YOU HAVE THE ABILITY TO INSPECT THE VEHICLE YOURSELF OR GET A THIRD PARTY INSPECTION WE STRONGLY RECOMMEND IT. SERIOUS BIDDERS ONLY. ONCE THE AUCTION ENDS YOU OWN IT AND THE VEHICLE IS SOLD AS IS. WE WANT YOU TO KNOW EXACTLY WHAT YOU ARE BUYING I'm selling this car for a friend of mine who left the country. The car had been parked in front of my house for almost year and was recently side swiped one night, presumably by one of the drunk teenagers attending a party down the street. Thanks guys. This is why it it missing a driver side window and drive side rear view mirror. This also explains the body damage on the driver side, obviously. Prior to the incident the car was running very well. There are clearly a number of cosmetic issues with the car but overall the engine and transmission are sound. I do not know of any mechanical issues. The only thing I can think of is that the driver's seat belt must be buckled up even when the car is off, otherwise it will buzz. This is likely a very easy electrical fix and could probably be solved altogether by removing a fuse. Other than that, I believe the car is in pretty good shape for a 1983. It's still a 31 year old car though, so keep that in mind. The car is registered in California, however the registration expired in august 2013. I DO NOT have the title. Again, there is no title. I don't know what this means for you as the buyer, but I suggest you look into it prior to bidding. I can print up a Bill of Sale on my computer, but I have no idea if that will help you at all. A $500 non refundable deposit is due via PayPal or bank transfer within 48 hours of auction ending. The full balance is due within 5 days via PayPal or bank transfer. Any and all arrangements dealing with shipping need to be taken care of on your end. I will happily assist the car carrier when they come to pick the vehicle up, but the rest is your responsibility. And obviously no one will be taking the car until I have been paid in full. Please contact for more photos or question. Disclaimer: The car is being sold AS IS. I am not an expert on cars, not even close. I'm a normal person who had a friend abandon a car at my house. If there are other issues, they are out of my range of expertise. This wasn't even my car so I don't know its idiosyncrasies. I suggest taking a look at the car or sending a mechanic over to look at the car. If you want to come look at the car prior to bidding, send me a message. I'd be happy to accommodate. ANY other questions at all, CONTACT ME!! Thanks! VEHICLE IS SOLD AS IS As a bidder, if you do not intend to purchase the car, do not have financing in place, or you are simply playing around, DO NOT BID. Non-paying bidders are a nightmare for me. Please avoid bidding as a courtesy to the rest of the people that do want to purchase the car.If you are a meticulous buyer or inexperienced with older automobiles, we recommend not buying a classic sight unseen. Spend the extra money to travel and see the vehicle, or invest $100 to have a 3rd party inspection done on the vehicle BEFORE you bid on the car. With all due respect to all bidders if you consider yourself a difficult buyer refrain from bidding on our vehicles and as we much rather sell a vehicle for less and have an enjoyable mutual transaction.
