The SS was available in a 2 door hard top and convertible version in 65. This Malibu is an SS tribute. It is badged very well, and has many SS features. However, you can tell by the VIN# and some other details that it is not the real thing. It is a nice driver quality car. It is an older frame off restoration according to it's current owner. Chrome trim and bumpers in excellent shape and not showing any rust. Power disk front brakes and drums in the back. Edelbrock air cleaner sits atop of the 4 barrel carburetor. Manual opening white convertible top is in great condition with no holes or tears. There are period correct rally wheels. Prime Well PS380 205/60 15 tires with lots of tread left. Beautiful white bucket seats up front contrast wonderfully with the black interior dash and black grant steering wheel. Pioneer aftermarket Cd player and Sony speakers help sweeten the sound driving down the road as you have the top down. The dash needs some restoration.
