1986 Honda BIG RED ATC250ES

I am selling my 1986 Honda Big Red ATC250ES. I am the second owner since 1994. The best I can describe the condition is moderately used but never abused. It was used on a weekly basis around my property for hauling, pulling a small trailer, and some snow plowing. Never abused on hill climbs, mud holes, etc. Has been adult owned its whole life. I do not have a title for it, alot of times these older machines were not titled. When I bought it the owner just gave me a hand written bill of sale which now is long gone. I will issue a bill of sale with VIN. This is one of the all time best utility ATV models ever made from any manufacturer, hands down. I have owned it for nearly 20 years and have not done a thing to it except routine maintenance. It is a 250cc engine with a shaft driven 5 speed automatic transmission with reverse. It also has electric start with backup kick starter. As for condition, mechanically it runs, shifts, and stops like a top. Never once did I have a problem with the mechanics on this machine. The tires are original with about 1/2 tread maybe a bit less and they are starting to dry crack from being nearly 30 years old, but they still all hold air. The gas tank is original and is real nice inside, no rust. On the outside on the right side near the top there is a smaller dent and below that there is a large dent you can see in the picture, it was like that when I got it. The racks do not appear to be bent, but are scratched up on the top from use. The plastics are nice for the age, but not perfect, scratched here and there, but better than average. I had the seat professionally recovered a few years ago with original gray color. Original rims are much better than average with only some surface rust around the lips in the rear. One thing to mention is one of the tail light lenses broke so I epoxied it back together, you can only notice it up close, but they do reproduce them now. Also included is an original cycle country dealer installed snow plow. This is a rare item, I have seen them sell for 3-500 alone. Included is all the original mounting brackets and hardware for it. It is a little rusty from sitting out. I also have a genuine honda shop manual, original owners manual, and extra oil filter and a set of new rear brake shoes. I can only offer this for local pick up, I cannot ship it , or be here to ship it. I live about 30 miles north of Allentown PA. Cash payment is due at pickup.
