For Sale Today is a 1998 VW Jetta TDI. This car was wrecked in the rear earlier this year and currently has a salvaged title. The car is complete with all parts minus the battery. The car runs and drives. The car is a high mileage car but has been taken care of. The Engine was swapped out and 20k ago and had about 180k on it at time of replacement or that is what the seller of the engine claimed. The transmission is untouched. The injection pump was sent out 10k ago and I spent over $700 to get it rebuilt in Washington. The Timing belt has been changed about 20k ago. The car has sat for a few months. This would be a great car to part out. Current Condition of the Car: Starts and Idles fine.When Revved up to higher rpms black smoke/soot comes out the tail pipe.The turbo/boost isn't working.Transmission shifts to all gears but the shift feels a little loose.This car leaks oil. I was adding about 1/2 quart every 1000miles. Interior of this car isn't in bad shape at all.Paint is in pretty good condition for it's age and the rust is very minimal The back doors don't line up perfectly with the body WHAT YOU SEE IS WHAT YOU'LL RECEIVE AS-IS 100% of the profit from this listing will go to a mission profit.
