Normal 0 MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 Up for auction here is a 1978 Chevrolet Custom Deluxe C20 This is a California truck and I have owned it for 20 years, this is a nice clean example and well maintained. It has 135,159 miles, for 35 years it’s been maintained and preserved very well, the truck starts and drives as it should, the transmission shifts thru all the gears, brakes stop on a dime, all electrics work. I had it repainted to original color colonial yellow 53L with integrated clear coat, the paint is around 5 years old and still has nice shine and lots of life left, this truck is covered and protected at all times, interior is clean and tidy, a AM/FM/CD player was installed 4 years ago along with speakers. The original seat has a small tear drivers side and has a saddle blanket type cover on it. Mechanically it's great, engine bay is clean and under carriage is clean also. It has a 3” exhaust from exhaust manifold to the rear, the muffler is Flowmaster, sounds like a muscle car, not to loud and not too quiet. Things to fix on the truck are: fuel gauge at dashboard dances, a new sender unit will fix that but I’m used to it, still tells you how much fuel you have, the automatic choke needs adjustment or replacement,to start cold, have to pump the gas pedal if it sits too long without use, A/C system works but needs to be recharged,system was converted to R134A 5 years ago, compressor works, oil leak at rear main seal, drop about the size of a quarter on the ground, it was replaced 3 years ago, but started leaking again, oil and transmission pan gaskets replaced, no leaks. The truck comes with all the service and parts list that have been replaced. Also 4 white steel rims with stainless trim rings will go with the truck.
