This 1972 chrome bumper Corvette Coupe started life as Ontario Orange but was repainted at some point to its current yellow color. In our opinion the paint and chrome are okay.
The car has a 350 engine whose block number matches the car. The valve covers and possibly the heads have been replaced by a prior owner. The high clearance hood was probably installed to clear the higher intake. The side pipes and Rallye wheels complete the picture.
In our opinion the underside rust is just surface but there is evidence that the floor pan was replaced,
The headlight and wiper doors are operational. The car has an aftermarket electronic ignition.
There IS NO power steering, power brakes, power windows or air conditioning to break, this car is old school.
In our opinion the saddle vinyl interior is in good shape with the exception of a small tear on the driver’ seat. The AM/FM radio, oil gauge, battery and amp meter are all functioning

The gas gauge, tachometer and clock are not working and the indicator needle has fallen off the speedometer.
The car starts and has been driven on our lot. We have no history on the car and cannot offer an opinion on its mechanical condition beyond “it runs”.

We have an active showroom so all cars are subject to prior
sale. We reserve the right to end this listing at anytime should the vehicle no
longer be available for sale.
Our cars are not driven regularly but are repositioned on
our lot as needed. They are stored battery out, with fuel stabilizer. Our cars
start, run and drive, unless noted otherwise. This does not mean they are ready
for long trips. We recommend a full mechanical inspection before taking them on the road.
We do our best to describe our vehicles accurately and
include numerous photographs but small defects don't always show in pictures.
Any known or visible defects at the time of listing will be stated in the
vehicle description. Classic and vintage vehicles usually will require sorting
out. Please do your research before bidding as all of our cars are sold “as
is”.
We welcome you having an independent inspection BEFORE
buying but not after the auction closes. Inspection at the time of pick up and attempts at subsequent renegotiation will not be permitted and will be cause for forfeiture of the deposit.

VA. Transportation is the responsibility of the buyer. We use Eclipse Auto Transport for all of our transport needs and suggest you contact them at 800-496-0881 for a competitive quote. We DO NOT provide shipping estimates, contact Eclipse or use the eBay resources.
A PayPal deposit of $500 is required 24 hours after the auction closes.
Payment in full is required in 3 days. You must have PayPal
and want to use it. We will open unpaid claims with eBay if PayPal deposits are
not received on time.

There are many factors that affect the price we set for our
vehicles. Since we represent a collector and are not a traditional dealership,
we do not have the pressure of bank financing compelling us to sell our
vehicles at a certain price or by a certain date.
We frequently get calls requesting (sometimes demanding) our
“rock bottom” price.
We do not expect you to start the negotiation by offering us
the highest amount you are willing to pay. So, we do not start our auctions by
disclosing the lowest we are willing to accept. eBay has resolved this problem
by allowing us to confidentially provide them with the lowest price we will
accept (RESERVE). eBay allows you to confidentially provide the highest amount
you are willing to spend (MAXIMUM BID). By using the AUTOMATIC BIDDING feature,
eBay will bid for you in small increments ($25,50,100) keeping you as the
highest bid until you win, reach your maximum or the auction ends with the car
not sold.

serious buyers, meaning individuals that have placed a bid. We will typically
contact our bidder’s list first, if a car goes unsold.
