This Lincoln Continental Convertible has been owned by the same owner since 1988 and is now part of an estate saleThe exterior on the car is in great condition without rust to be found. The car is burgundy and looks great. The black vinyl convertible soft top is in excellent condition. The exterior metal is all very straight and all body lines are correct. The car has been buffed and hand polished. All chrome and stainless are original and in excellent condition. The overall quality of the chrome is a good indicator that this car has been in a salt free environment all of its life. This car is very solid with no rust in the rockers, floors, or wheel wells. All glass is crack and chip free. The rubber seals are soft and pliable as they should be. All of the emblems and trim are beautiful and all of the lenses are crack free. The interior is in excellent shape all around except a very small area on the driver side arm rest has a small rip in need of repair. THIS IS THE ORIGINAL LEATHER INTERIOR. The seating surfaces are in excellent condition as well as the door panels and carpet except as noted for the driver side arm area. This Continental is finished in the very stunning all black interior. All four of the door panels and wood grain inserts are in original condition. The carpet is very nice and clean. The steering wheel is crack free as well as the dash which is perfect and all of the gauges are absolutely gorgeous and all gauges work correctly. All of the switches and lights function correctly. The power windows and convertible top that drops into the trunck are in working condition.Mechanically, this Lincoln runs great, only the mufflers are in need of replacement The motor provides ample power to move the car around comfortably. The car starts right up and shifts smooth. The brakes are all in good shape and stop the car with ease. The front suspension is in good condition.
