Northwest Classics proudly presents another fully documented one owner car up for a no reserve worldwide auction. This well maintained 1979 Datsun 280ZX is in fantastic shape. Ebay asks you to put exactly what the odometer reads but these cars don't have the 5th digit. I however have service documents showing that this is in fact a very nice 151,480 mile car not 200K or 300K. I have all the paperwork from when the car was bought new in 1979 including dealership sales order showing paid in cash and even the temporary 15 day trip permit that they used until there license plates arrived. They paid 12,000 dollars in cash for this in 1979. Seeming how much money that was in 1979 he bought a bra, car cover and kept it garaged. This car has been baby it's whole life and it shows. Everything works great in it including the A/C that still blows cold. There is a small scratch on the back drivers side fender which I took a picture of that has been touched up. There are two small amounts of surface rust starting to show but other then that a very rust free car. (see pics) The interior is the best part of the car. I looked at the car and didnt believe that it had 151K I thought it had 51K by looking at it. There are no rips or tears in it and it looks like show room condition. I would rate the inside a 9.5 out of 10. The Gold Metallic paint is all orignial and still looks great. It does have a little touch up paint for the scratch. I would rate the paint 8 out of 10. The tires are Michelin and in good shape. It runs and drives great. It has had no accidents. It was owned by a husband and wife since new until he passed away and she finally was able to part with it a couple years later. Please Email me with any questions you may have.
