Due to moving, I am having to thin down my collection. This is a 1950 Ford tudor sedan. I bought the car nearly 2 years ago from a elderly man in Tampa, FL. I drove the car home in 110 degree weather 13 hours non stop at 75 mph and it performed flawlessly! Since then I have put nearly 2500 more miles on it. I would not hesitate to drive it cross country. The man I bought it from painted it himself, installed new interior, all new rubber weatherstrips and had the engine rebuilt sometime in the 90's. Besides that it is a nice original car. The interior is nice. The paint has seen better days, but is presentable from distance. This never bothered me as I wanted the car to drive and enjoy, not show. The chrome is all good, the LF parking lamp housing has minor surface rust, and the cast pieces have pitting. Has been converted to 12 volt and the overdrive works perfectly. Has modern Michelin radial tires. The only things I have replaced, is I put a Aluminum radiator in it and a new carburetor. The radio is not hooked up and I do not know if it works (it was my intentions to replace with the original looking modern reproduction). Runs good at any speed and NEVER gets above 170 degrees.
