I just ended the first listing of this car and I'm re-listing it with all the details I have now learned about the vehicle. I want all bidders to be completely informed as to the reasons for the title being a lemon buy back. This car was purchased buy the first buyers back in 1997 from a local Ford dealership and the buyer had issues with the car and they could not be resolved to there satisfaction . So the Ford Motor Company bought the car back. Meaning the Ford Factory bought it back from the dealership and gave the buyer another car. Now the dealership sends it back to factory and a tech there finds out the problem and they fix it. Putting in a whole new drive train with a full factory warranty. It goes back to the dealership and the dealership then sells it to my clients. They paid 17,258.66 for it back in 1998. Only now it comes with a title that has to state lemon buy back. Please see pictures 3 & 4 for a copy of the factory sticker from window and the sales contract. Please note that after my clients bought the car they were happy with it and there were no more problems with the car. They have had it 16 years. And would not be selling now but my client is now in assisted living and no longer drives. i have an appointment tomorrow to have smog done. The car is currently registered until Nov1,2013The reason I'm going to do a smog is there have been questions from bidders on it passing smog so I will do it. I don't see any reason why it wouldn't pass since it has passed for the last 16 years.This is an Estate Car and has been well taken care of.Your bidding on a 1997 Ford Taurus There is no reserve.It has 76,294 miles on it and not hard miles, the elderly woman who owns the vehicle used it for some family tripsand back and forth to work. It has been serviced and maintained regularly . All features on this vehicle work properly . The overall exterior is in great condition with the exception ofthe passenger bottom area under the door has a ripple effect if you catch it just right you can see it. If you don't know about it then you don't notice it. I had washed the car and waxed it and didn't see it until I bent down to pick up my wash bucket and caught it just right . At that angle it could be noticed. Please see photos . The interior is in great condition with on exception, please see photo no.9 and you'll see a mark on the carpet in the back on driver side, I have not tried to remove it. I thought it best be done by someone who's an expert in that field .Car also comes with dark grey floor mats,which had not been put back in when photos were taken.Comes with manual and all service records I get from family .Smoke free interior.. The AC works fantastic, I was amazed how cold it got and how fast. Just sitting in driveway wiping down interior I turned AC on and with in 2 seconds it was very cold . All power seats ,mirrors ,cassette player,locks, etc... work properly. Tires are in good condition,This a very clean car with low miles and has allot of life left . Will make someone very happy.. I am totally willing to meet up together at a reputable dealership or shop for a complete inspection of vehicle before final purchase takes place. This vehicle is being sold AS IS with no warranty.
