I’m selling my 1997 Jeep Cherokee Sport XJ 4X4 4.0L Automatic transmission. The truck is in excellent condition inside and out. All paint shines beautifully, there are no major dents or dings, just normal jeep scuffs. Interior is in pretty close to perfect condition, no rips/tears. Minor split in drivers door elbow rest and two nicks on headliner (see picture). The Jeep has 143,000 miles on it ( 3,000 on rebuilt engine, read bellow) and all services and maintenance are current and up to date. All service records and receipts will be provided for winning bidder as well as original manuals and paperwork. Single family owned. This is a fantastic truck and I am hesitant to sell it, but with my growing family I have purchased a 4 door truck and don’t drive the jeep much. This jeep is fully loaded with all the standard features, i.e.: power windows and door locks, freezing cold a/c & warm heat, AM/FM/6 CD changer stereo, rear folding seats, overhead info console, tow hitch and much more... There are no mechanical problems with the car, everything work perfect as it should, it runs and drives great. No warning or check engine lights on. Mechanically, the jeep has been completely restored. Has rebuilt engine with all new internal parts and all external sensors and accessories. Previous engine had the dreaded oil drive gear/distributor failure and caused bearing damage. The rebuilt engine currently has 3000 miles on it and runs excellent with great amounts of power. No leaks, no noises, ticks or anything else...restored to “like new”. This jeep is ready to give someone many years of trouble free service!
