Vehicle Detail
Available for purchase is a 1954 Ford Original Country Squire Woody Wagon originally out of Medina Tennessee. This vehicle is a very solid car that was recently disassembled and restoration has been started. Originally purchased as a red & white running and driving car. This vehicle was completely disassembled by a professional restoration company Ancient Iron out of Dorset Ohio. The body was then completely stripped, cleaned blasted by Diversified Maintenance out of North Bloomfield, Ohio after that it was returned to Ancient Iron where it was completely chemically treated and epoxy coated which is the stage it is in now. No expense was spared making sure this vehicle was disassembled properly and the metal treated properly. Everything comes with the car. I have many pictures listed and for serious buyers can email more. This is an unbelievably solid vehicle. Way better shape then most the 5 to 8 year old cars I see around. This is when metal was true raw steel. All the doors are super solid and open and close with ease. The rear tailgate will need some patch work along bottom edge but completely solid gate that can be repaired easily enough. All glass has been removed and with car. For the most part plan on replacing most of the glass. The rear glass is good on the sides and tailgate. Everything is with the car. I went through all the parts. There is 2 pieces of chrome trim that will be needed on the drivers quarter. The wood mouldings are all there. Obviously you will need to replace the wood grain transfers. All the mouldings are in great shape. Very rare to find such nice trim. Front, rear bumpers and grille all there. This car was 100% together and then tore down by one company to insure all items would stay with the car. A ll interior side panels were trash & discarded. Trim company siad no need to save new ones needed to be made anyway. The only two things I have yet to locate and believe they may still be at the restoration company is the front & Rear seat for the car. Since not in my possesion I am selling the car without them. I will do my due dilegence to track them down and include with the car but will not gurantee at this time. So as of now your bidding without the front and rear seat. If found will advise in auction at later date. This is a truly amazing vehicle. The undercarriage is very clean. The floor boards will need patch work as pictured. What I can tell you where the holes are is completely solid around them. The rear trunk-storage are is super clean with little in the way of rust repair needed. Both rear quarters at bottoms will need some patch work. Rockers and doglegs, super clean!!!. Doors are all solid. Cowl very solid. Frame super clean. Inner rockers solid with small areas needing some work, nothing major. All body mounts and crossmembers all look clean & solid. What a restorers dream. So clean, so solid!!!All around windshield clean...Roof clean with couple small areas having some pinholes by the driprail. Very minimal. Fenders solid for most part. Lower fenders in rear weak and right fender has damage at wheel lip. I have an extra Left fender from washington state that comes with the car. I have copies of illustrations showing where everything goes on this woody to make life easier reassmbling. So many guides, books, & manuals on these cars. I also have a catalog of parts from Mac Antique that goes with the car. A smooth running drivetrain. Engine and trans will just need cleaned up and reinstalled. Super great runner. Never used oil or smoked and for a 1954 239 Y BlockV8this is an extremely quiet engine that idles smooth. All components are there for reassembly. Hood is in great shape. Gonna need tires & wheels for sure. Just mismatched rollers on there. I had this car shipped years back from Tennessee. During the shipping the title was lost. This vehicle is being sold on a bill of sale. Many states accept a bill of sale for titling and some don't. Consider this as a complete car being sold for parts on a bill of sale. Had an original Tennessee title but was lost by shipper when I purchased this car years back during transit. Still have shippers paperwork but never seemed to get anywhere and truthfully was not concerned. figured I would obtain title when time came to put car back on the road. Titles for older cars are not that difficult to obtain. This is a very nice complete car that I no longer have room for storage or desire to finish. I want this to be a smooth auction and want the buyer to know exactly what he is getting. Which is a very good restorable 1954 Ford Original woody wagon being sold on a bill of sale. Bumpers all look good front-rear. If making show car you will want to rechrome. Grille is nice. Headlamps, tailamps, locks, latches, handles all there. Some items will need rechromed or replaced aftermarket. All the bows for the headliner are there. Basically once again this car was complete and taken apart for restoration purposes. Everything is there with the exception of the seats and trim panels. If your looking for a very solid Woodie wagon to restore look no further. This is as solid as a car you will find. A very restorable vehicle. I am selling this vehicle No Reserve to the highest bidder. I may entertain trades. Does not hurt to run them by me. I am not looking for another project. Would have to be a running trade otherwise I just as well keep what I have since the value is there when this project is complete. Any questions do not hesitate to ask. I also would feel more comfortable if you live within a reasonable distance to come look at this car it is far better than pictures will ever show it to be. An awesome vehicle with tons of potential. Let the bidding begin!!! NO RESERVE!!! Please once again this is a real nice project with tons of potential. It will take time and money to put back together a project like this but will pay off in the end. woody wagons are going up in value and even during the economy drop they kept raising in value. The restoration company that started this project is more than willing to finish it. I can put you in contact with them if you would like and can have them complete the car. Email if you would like their info and I will pass it on. They are very familiar with the car. I would like to see this vehicle get into the right hands and see it through to be finished back to original. Once again please email with any questions. I will be glad to answer. A project like this you can keep going on and on talking about. Professionals and car people can basically see what needs to be done at this point. They key once again with this car was it was disassembled properly by one person. Not thru a bunch of hands so when reassembling you can not find anything. This makes all the difference. Good luck bidding. If having shipped I will make certain all items get with the car and the shipper handles with care. Thank you for viewing. This is a very exciting project that will have a great dividends in the end... Thanks again....If your very interested I do have more photos. 24 pics just not enough to get everything in on this type of vehicle. On Jun-18-13 at 10:10:18 PDT, seller added the following information: The seats have been located for the car. So it will be sold with the front & rear seats. I knew they were around but not certain where. My friend contacted me today and he had them in his garage. So were picking them up and gonna go with the car.... Thanks...On Jun-19-13 at 09:11:35 PDT, seller added the following information: All the upper metal trim is all there for the interior. The rear floor pieces are all there. I just want to reassure the buyer that all the items are with this car to put back together. The lower trim panels which are vinyl and cardboard type material do need to be made. The seats are red & white and are in very nice shape. They were recovered years ago and still look real good. This is once again a very solid vehicle that is prefect for restoration.
