We got in this 1972 BMW 2002tii on a trade. I sent it out for service and mechanical inspection at famous autosports in Chatsworth, CA, as i do with all of my sports cars.I will describe this car just like it is without making it something its NOT.......... Mechanically its great the engine sounds amazing and drives very good and strong in all gears. After the BMW was serviced and inspected the only mechanical recommendation was to replace the radiator or rebuild it, thermostat and hoses. The job was completed today 05/23/2013. Now for the not so good, this BMW was fully restored in the last year by a unprofessional shop, the paint job is nice but not show quality. it looks like the car was completely disassembled and when this unprofessional shop assembled the car back they did NOT do a good job with the adjustments of all the door gaps trunk and hood and one of the fenders.( its not very bad but we noticed it and will share with all buyers) Please Note its not bed for a daily or a weekend driver but for sure its not a car for the shows. it will be very easy fixe for someone who knows how to work on this cars. PLEASE NOT INSPECTIONS ARE WELCOMED BEFORE THE END OF EBAY. I DESCRIBED THIS CAR WITH 100% ALL HONESTY. THIS CAR IS SOLD AS-IS.
