HondaPassport 1982 HONDA C70 PASSPORT VERY NICE SHAPE - LOW MILES I am selling a 1982 Honda C70 Passport scooter that I've owned for 10 years. The wife has finally gotten her license and has graduated to a larger scooter. This Passport is in very nice shape, considering that it is 30+ years old. It has less then 2000 miles on the odometer. It is all original except the ignition switch, which I had to replace when we somehow lost the keys during a move five years ago. I have a clean title for this little Honda, but it shows 11,000 miles! I was able to pull up the title transfer history on the Ohio BMV website (pretty cool feature) and this mileage discrepancy occurred after the first transfer in 1998. I truly believe that the owner included the tenths digit and put down 9923 instead of 992.3 and this was perpetuated during the next 4 transfers! All I can say is that I believe the odometer is accurate and the original front tire helps substantiate this. It has a brand new Yuasa battery, and the rear tire is now an IRC, but otherwise everything is completely stock (front tire is the original Bridgestone). This is my last attempt at listing this Passport (at least this season). If it doesn't sell on Ebay, I plan to take it out to Vintage Days at Mid Ohio Raceway during the July 19th weekend. Look me up if you want to take a look at it then. The taillight works but not the brake light?? Other then that, everything works well.
