This car is being relisted thanks to A "Non responsive Bidder" .Please only bid if you intend to go through with the purchase. This listing is for a 1966 Mustang "A" code G.T. Fastback Project or Parts car. This listing is for U.S. BIDDERS ONLY !!!!!! I am a long time Mustang owner,collector,restorer. This is a rolling shell, with MASSIVE amounts of ROT. If someone were to attempt to restore this car they would basically need to weld in all new metal ( Frames, floors, cowls, Full quarters,wheelhouses, etc.,etc.etc.) It needs everything. I cannot list every piece that it needs, it is a bare rolling shell, If you see a part in the photos please assume it's bad and if you don't see a part in the photos please assume it's not there(there's no wiring,no interior,drivetrain,etc.) . I purchased this a while back thinking I would possibly restore it "One Day". I no longer have the Time, Space, or desire to do that so I am offering it up for sale, I am starting the bidding cheap with no reserve as It's time to move on. I bought this as a non rolling shell, I put a bare 8 inch rear housing and 5 lug axles out of another 66 to make it rollable (there is no center section or rear brake parts).The front fender apron on the drivers side appears to have been changed at some point as the welds do not appear to be factory and the bottom was left loose as well.Because of this the numbers in the front usual underhood place are gone. The numbers I can find on the car are on the door tag,as well as the rear ones under the hood on the drivers side( please see photos) .They decode as follows (this was a pretty sweet car when new). This car had been made into A shelby clone in it's past life as it has fiberglass: quarter scoops,"R" model valence and a lift off hood as well as plexi glass quarter windows. I am including a new pair of full length floors for the car although if one were to restore it they would probably want to go with a 1 piece pan. The winner does not have to take the new floors if they don't want them,the original floors were cut out at some point. This car is located in NEW YORK Zip code 10547. This is a cash at pickup sale. I paid cash for the car I will not accept any form of check,wire transfer,electronic payment,etc. CASH ONLY Please. If I had kept the car to restore I had planned on using a title service to register the car. The winning bidder will need to figure out what paper work is required by their state. I would like the car paid for and picked up within a reasonable time period after the auction has ended ,weekdays work best for pickup for me. If the car is not picked up within a timely fashion there will be storage charges of $100 per week unless the buyer and I have worked out a pickup arrangement beforehand.Sadly I have to write this because I had a car sell on ebay a while back and the buyer didn't pick it up for 2 MONTHS......
