Vehicle Detail
Up for sale, My 2005 Chrysler 300c SRT-8. 1 of 252 made in the year 2005. Very rare vehicle. I purchased this 300 in Oak Ridge Tennessee with 14K, from a new Chrysler dealer. I was told, it was one of several vehicles used in the Detroit Auto Show. This car is loaded with options, deep Viper style racing bucket seat with the SRT-8 logos, factory Navigation with an updated map. Chrome factory 20 inch wheel package. Heated seats,& Factory sunroof. I just replaced all 4 tires. They have less than 500 miles on them. Since my purchase the vehicle has only seen premium fuel. I have changed the oil every 3000 miles with Mobile One. The Vehicle has has never been in an accident, no paint repairs other than the lower piece of the front valance.( bottom 4 inches) I pulled into a steep drive and cracked it. The car is factory original other than the grill insert. I liked the look and changed to that style. I do have the original hanging in the garage. This is a super nice car and will stand behind what I have said about it in the ad. The only reason I am selling, is to make room for the boat is just purchased. Since purchased the 300 has been garaged keep, and only driven once or twice a week. This 300 needs nothing. After posting the photos,I noticed the interior looks faded in several shots. It is just the lighting. Interior is very nice, not faded. A little history on the 300c SRT-8: Street & Racing Technology (commonly called SRT) is a high-performance automobile group within Chrysler LLC. SRT began as "Team Viper" to develop the Dodge Viper. It later merged with "Team Prowler", the developers of the Plymouth Prowler, to become Specialty Vehicle Engineering (SVE). This was renamed Performance Vehicle Operations (PVO). Since all PVO vehicles used the SRT name, it was decided in 2004 to use that name for the development group as well. SRT produces vehicles for the Chrysler, Dodge and Jeep brands. The naming convention used by SRT for its models are indicative of the vehicle's engine type. The number that follows the "SRT" prefix denotes the number of engine cylinders the vehicle has. For example the Chrysler 300C has a 5.7L Hemi V-8; Therefore the SRT version is known as the Chrysler 300C SRT-8, which has a 6.1L Hemi V-8. Similarly, the Dodge Viper SRT-10 along with the Dodge Ram SRT-10 have an 8.3L V-10. I will be available for questions or other photos. Call Stan Johnson 865-566-1290.
