This example is a good driver finished in classic Cadillac Pink. It is a beautiful and perennial head turner since 1959. It is powered by the Cadillac 390 c.i. V8 and features factory air conditioning along with many other Cadillac options. Enjoy this car as is, or restore to your heart's content. View our 100% positive customer feedback and bid 100% confidence. Enjoy our presentation and feel free to contact Dave at 214-213-7072 or Maris at 214-616-2317 with any questions. The Dallas Love Field Frontiers of Flight Museum is the location for the photoshoot of this classic '59 Cadillac Series 62 Convertible. According to the trim identification plate, this Cadillac was originally Vegas Turquoise. It now displays a re-paint in classic Cadillac Pink. The paint and body are in good condition. The original stainless and chrome work is intact throughout this Cadillac. Newer Coker Wide Whitewall tires are installed on the factory 15-inch wheels and sized at L78-15 on each corner. 1959 would be the pinnacle of the Cadillac tail fins. These are grand automobiles, indeed. Enjoyed by its current owner and his family for the past 6 years, this gracious lady is ready to move on to her next caretaker. The owner has other classics and does not want to invest the time or funds to restore her. She goes for rides around Dallas quite often and is running well. The dash is clean and in good condition as are the gauges and controls throughout. The original steering wheel is also in place. The radio is not working. The leather interior apears to have been dyed at one time and is starting to wear off a bit front to back. The power-operated front seat is moving forward and back. The chrome & stainless show well throughout this car. The engine runs good and transmission shifts as it should. The engine compartment displays the original sheet metal throughout the firewall, inner fenders, and core support. The factory air conditioning is not working and in need of service. The door panels are decent, complete with the original stainless. The power windows are working, but pretty slow. Note the pitting on the original brightwork. The door undersides are solid and in good condition. The trunk is clean and solid, complete with the correct matting, spare tire/wheel and jacking equipment. The undercarriage displays the factory X frame in good condition along with original flooring, also solid. This car has some rust and older repair work done underneath that will need attending to if you are going to show the car, overall solid. Texas Classic Cars of Dallas is located at 1912 W.
