Fly Low or Fly High, many of our photos of this Camaro Z/28 were taken at the Dallas Love Field Frontiers of Flight Museum, located only minutes from our showroom. Be sure to visit our friends at the Flight Museum if you find yourself in Dallas, Texas. The Z/28 featured specific spoilers, ground effects and 5.0 liter High-Output V8 performance. The exterior showcases clean and detailed factory paint and pinstriping. The wheels of choice are machine polished 15-inch Z/28 Alloys wrapped in 225/60R15 Goodyear Eagle GTII Radial Tires. Open the doors to 1983. Yes, the hatch lid stays up. This pure stock interior is in excellent condition, kept original throughout with exception of a modern AM/FM CD Stereo. The gray cloth seating shows very well throughout the driver's and passenger's seat as well as the back seat. The bolsters and material are clean with some little to no wear. This is a non-smoker car. The carpeting is in very good conditon as are the mats. The door panels are clean and detailed original. The headliner and dash are in excellent condition as well. There are two hairline cracks at the dash speakers, otherwise perfect. The gauges are crisp and functional with clear lenses. The factory steering wheel is the tilt unit. The engine compartment displays the original 305 cubic inch 5.0 Liter High-Output 4bbl. V8 paired with the 700R4 automatic overdrive transmission. This is the first year Chevrolet offered the performance and fuel-efficient 700R4 automatic transmission in the Camaro. It made its debut in the 1982 Corvette. 1983 would be the Camaro's time to shine with no Corvette to debut until the 1984 model year. The engine compartment is in excellent condition, detailed to show. The firewall, inner fenders, and core support are clean, clean. This is a dry climate, garage-kept Camaro and it shows. The chromed breather and cold-air induction is also in place. The undercarriage showcases further detail and original frame and flooring throughout.
