You can clearly see yourself in the back, your Dad or Mom driving, fighting with you sister or brother in the back seat with the dog all the way in the back, or better, you sleeping in the way back with the window open. Today they would never allow this!! We have to admit that when we saw this we thought wow, there is a cool piece of Americana. It is a nice to drive as it looks and it really was the pioneer to todays SUV. This Plymouth Belvedere Station wagon has two rows of seats and then a HUGE area for storing everything from a Flat screen TV to three giant dogs and if that is not enough space, don't worry, you can fold down the rear seat for more. The overall mechanical condition is very good, it starts immediately, drives nicely, shifts nicely, and stops nicely. Start her up, pack up the kids, the wife, the dogs, and head to Sams Club for a pallet of toilet paper, it will fit. The interior is in very good condition, the seat, rugs, headliner, steering wheel, and controls are all in good condition and feel good in your hands. Start her up, feel the shifter as she goes into gear, the seats are comfortable, and there are lots of seatbelts for the kids or grandkids. The body is also in very good condition. Yes, there are some nits and nats on the body panels from age but that is all, there are some minor scratches, please see the pictures, but overall the body is in very good shape. The pans, rockers, and frame are in very good shape and need nothing. You will see from the pictures that the wheel storage compartment at the very rear of the car on the passenger side has some small holes, this was due to storing the tire in this spot, it would get damp and then rust. In short, this is an Iconic American Car with a nicely running slant 6 that is bullet proof and economical, good brakes, and in overall good condition. Take her for a spin with the whole family!
