This auction is for a 1978 HONDA HAWK. It is a 400CC RARE 2 SPEED SEMI-AUTOMATIC. There is no clutch but you do have to shift. I have not had this long and was going to make this a winter project, but I have a boat winter project already and probably won't get to this. I have not got it running but I sprayed starting fluid in it once and kicked it and it sputtered. I did not want to try to run it on the old gas that was in it. It appears complete, but will need new tires as it has been sitting in a barn for years, they hold air but I would not ride it with these tires, they are not safe. I have the keys and the original R.I. registration. The previous owner never had a title because they had it registered before titles wre required. I was told when I bought it that you can get a title or register it with that old registration. There is a bit of surface rust as you can see on the fenders, exaust etc. but no frame rot or serious corosion. It comes with original HONDA HAWK OWNER'S MANUAL. This could be restored, it would be very good on gas, or parted out. I am selling it as-is because I really don't know much about it. (ACTUAL PHOTOS) Local pick-up.
