Vehicle Detail

Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 !!! No Reserve Auction - Highest Bid Wins !!! You’re looking at a 1956 Studebaker Power Hawk. It has been sitting since 1982. It looks like someone started taking apart the motor and that’s where it stopped. The motor is missing a lot of pieces, i.e., heads, oil pan, pistons, etc. It does have the generator, intake, carburetor and a messed up hood latch. The block may be salvageable, but I don’t know. It has an automatic transmission. It is missing the passenger side door glass, horn button and radio. The rest of the glass is good. The hood needs some work. It does come with a brand new hood stiffener kit ($160.00) and a patch panel piece for the upper quarter panel (where the rust is). The front fenders have rust on the bottoms. The upper quarter panel on the body below the pop-out quarter glass has some rust, and there is also some near the tail lights (as shown). The rear floors are soft with some holes (as shown). The wheels and hub caps are original. I bead blasted the front side of the wheels, then primered and painted them cherry red. The car rolls around easy and has “park.” I don’t know much about Studebakers, so please ask questions or call for a walk-around description. I have a clear California title with the original keys and the original spare rim. To me, it’s screaming make a Bonneville salt flat car or hot rod. Maybe Scotchbrite the car and clear it, or paint it satin black and make a rat rod or gasser, or even bring it back to original with some white walls. If you need more information (a walk around description) or more specific pictures, you can email me or call me, Mike, at (760) 519-3478. If you are an overseas buyer, I have a truck and trailer and can transport the car to a shipper in Long Beach for $300. If you are in the US and need a transporter, a reliable one I have done business with is Hanover Transport. You can call them for a quote 1-888-919-1677 or look them up online at hanovertransport.com.Also W.E. Trucking (623) 412-1214. Ask for Wade. Both trucking companies have been very reasonable and they do what they say they will do. This vehicle is being sold as is with no implied warranty. If I have not had contact from the winning bidder within three days of the end of the auction, I will assume you are a non-paying bidder and will proceed through the Ebay steps accordingly. Payment is to be paid in full within 5 business days of the end of the auction and pickup within 20 days of the end of the auction unless other arrangements are agreed upon.
