Vehicle Detail
This is a rare 1975 UK import right hand drive Silver Shadow. More desirable with the chrome bumpers. Runs and drives nice, just don't have the time to restore it with a new Ferrari coming in. I have owned 8 previous Silver Shadows and I am an active member of the RROC. Needs a lot of cosmetics, or you can just enjoy as it is as I have myself. It still turns heads because it is a Rolls Royce. Nice blue color, very striking in the sunlight. There is some rust in some areas (see photos) but not too bad. Several paint chips also as this is an old paint job. It is the original color. All glass is excellent. The rear chrome bumper has a rust spot/hole on one corner. The right side turn signal lens cover is missing along with the steering column shifter knob. The interior seats have been completely redone but the wood and carpet should be addressed if you wanted a nicer interior. The headliner is in excellent condition as well. The engine starts right up, transmission shifts smoothly, I use it almost daily and never had any problems, albeit it isn't very fast. The brakes are in good shape also. What I would do if I kept it would be a small tune up and repair what doesn't work, which includes the horn, both right side windows, power antenna, drivers side power seat, gas gauge, and interior map light. As for cosmetics, re-dye some of the leather interior side trim and have the wood polished. I would also change the trunk carpeting which isn't that expensive to do. Again, these were on my to do list but I have another purchase to take care of. I have the owner's manual, some receipts, and the clean title in my name. Also includes a Rolls Royce blue leather keyfob that matches the interior. I will let Ebay decide its value. Please only bid if you have the funds!!! This is not a parts car, so I hope it doesn't get parts value. It drives nicely and would make a great project for the enthusiast that has the time. Buyer to make a $500 deposit within 24 hours, and balance due within 14 days of purchase. I am not a dealer so there is no sales tax. I can assist with transportation or you can drive home if you live near but that is up to you. It is almost 40 years old and is selling as is with no warranty. If you are looking for a garage queen or concours car don't bother looking at this one. This is a great way to enter the Rolls Royce market without spending a fortune. Impress your friends for the cost of a used Volkswagen! Feel free to call with any questions (912) 353-9076.
