1987 Honda TLR200

Up for bid is a good running 1987 Honda TLR200 Reflex Trials motorcycle. No title, selling for off road use. I'm posting this bike for a friend of mine. Mfg. date on frame is 12/86 and it's a 1987 model. This was the 2nd year model of a 2 year model made by Honda only in 1986 & 1987. The mileage is showing 1187 miles, but the speedometer cable does not exactly fit the current front aluminum wheel that someone had swapped out at some point in time, so the actual mileage is probably somewhat higher. It's the correct size wheel, but it should have a steel rim like the rear. It does run well and is ready to ride or restore. It starts easy & it runs strong. The bike was sitting in storage and some parts ended up lost as you can see. The side covers are missing. The airbox connector boot along with some other filter parts ended up lost, but the bike has not been run in the dirt or dust, just yard ridden since storage. There is no ignition key, and the switch had been by-passed. All of the lights are working as well as the horn, although a new battery will make the turn signals flash better. The bike does run fine for off-road use and is still ready-to-ride, even without the battery. This would make someone a great camp or woods bike, or it would be an easy restoration for anyone into vintage Trials motorcycles. Please ask any questions, and I'll be glad to answer the best I can. Located near Sharon,PA. Only 10.5 miles north of interstate I-80,(Sharon/Hermitage exit for route 18 north). I can also ship with your own transport company such as: Bullet Transport 515-238-7633, www.bulletbiketransport.com , ID Transport 954-946-3366, www.idtransport.com , Eagle One Express 1-800-874-5444, www.eagleoneexpress.com, or someone similar that will come & pick-up the cycle without it needing to be crated. I've had buyers use each of these transporters, both with good results. Transportation cost quotes, and any other arrangements or agreements, will be between you and the transporter. I will help coordinate a pick-up, and make sure the bike is loaded damage-free, but any shipping fees, payment for shipping, & shipping warranties will be between the buyer and the transporter. PAYMENT Info: Cash on pick-up. Checks also accepted by mail for local pick-up, but will require 10 days to clear before pick-up is made. Must be paid for & picked up within 2 weeks of ending date, unless you have contacted me with other arrangements prior to bidding.
