Up for auction is my 1972/1973 Monark 125 MX frame number 4165 and engine number 7174810. The motorcycle is type 12516B as well and features the correct Sacks motor and Ceriani front forks and was manufactured in Sweden in the early 1970’s. This Monark is a very rare model and is especially difficult to find being it is the MX model. This bike has been parked in an enclosed shed for a very long time and is in overall good restorable condition. The bike is currently not running but does turn over with good compression and should easily run with a carb cleaning and tune-up. The bike is very complete and features the original tin fenders and petrol tank in very nice condition. The petrol tank is very nice and doesn't have any major damage or rust inside. The seat is ripped and could be used as is for a driver or re-covered. The original alloy rims are also present and in good condition. The bike is overall very complete and would be a perfect candidate for a complete restoration. These Monarks are very difficult to find and this would be the perfect example to restore as it is very complete and has most of the hard to find parts in good condition. I am selling this bike because I do not have the time to give it the attention it deserves.
