Vehicle Detail
1965 Porsche 356C Sunroof Euro numbers matching - Engine, Transaxle, hood & deck lid match COA from Porsche. Car is titled as a 1964, but the serial number indicates that it is actually the 35th 1965 built in the Ruetter Factory. Bought new by an American living in Europe who brought it home to Oregon around 1971-2. It has been in dry storage since shortly after his return. Great project with solid floors, even the battery compartment only has a 1-1/2" hole. Will need Rocker panels, jack spurs , possibly battery floor and small rust areas repaired. Car has never had a repaint so the faded paint is the original Signal Red put on by the factory in 1964. Numbers matching engine (non-running), doors etc. Left door is repairable, but a near-NOS rust and damage free "C" door will be included at the buy-it-now price. Very original with all of the European delivery items intact (Euro Headlights, KM speedo, Euro heaters, Turn lenses, etc). Beautiful, Original Dash. Great mats, door panels - even the headliner is in very nice shape (will need new insert for sunroof panel, but frame is included). Complete (parts not shown are included). GREAT WINTER PROJECT - Work on it for the next several months and have an Incredible Car to Show/Drive Next Summer! I really need to get going on my Cabriolet restoration so I would like to let someone else do this one. If there are no takers I have it scheduled to go to my metal man in 2 weeks to make it the incredible car it will be again. And with really nice, original, Sunroof C's bringing nearly 6 figures (sometimes more) regularly - I'd be motivated to get it done soon. But as I said, I would prefer to take him my cabriolet to get started on instead. Car is sold in "as is" condition with no warranty, express or implied. If you want to have it inspected - please do so before you bid. No problem shipping anywhere in the world. It should be about $2000 to ship it to Europe.
